Downtowner branch to close October 9
Our mission is always to provide the highest quality services and financial value to our members, and this means we must responsibly manage credit union resources for the benefit of all members.
After long-term evaluation and careful consideration of usage by members we have made the difficult decision to close our Downtowner branch.
Several factors contributed to this decision, but ultimately branch utilization was significantly below the level needed to support a full-service operation at this location. Staffing an underutilized branch is costly to all members. Members who occassionally came to this branch frequently utilized either our Main Branch or Theodore location instead, as well as our digital access services.
Although the Downtowner location will no longer be available after October 9, 2026, members can always conduct business at two other convenient Mobile-area locations.
We are committed to investing in technology, solutions, and services that provide the greatest convenience, accessibility, and efficiency for all members. Watch for details about our new Advanced Digital Banking services coming soon.
